Day 1: Arrival
Sunday, departure from Fort Lauderdale on Spirit Airlines. Meeting with William, Cara and Cameron at the St Thomas airport, US Virgin Islands. Ferry from Redhook Bay to Cruz Bay, the island of St John. First seasickness. Taxi rollercoaster drive through the island with a pee-stop at the former Rockefeller estate to Concordia Eco-huts. Second seasickness.

Day 2: The Eco-Huts.
Actually much nicer in the morning:

Ecohuts - solar panels, water for shower heated by sun, no drinking water. Mosquitos...

The view of the Salt Pond and the Bay.

After a 20 minute mosquito-run, we are approaching the lagoon...

The blue lagoon...

Day 3: Pirates Bight, Norman Island
Leaving early in the morning to get our boat - first taxi, then ferry to St. Thomas, then ferry to Tortolla, then taxi.
First, some real industrial stuff to repel the mosquitos.

The rollercoaster taxi.
Breakfast before the first sailing. Our catamaran on the left bottom.

Smile through tears. When is the next flight back home??

The kids are the best passengers.

The Pirates Bight, Norman Island. Welcome to the Paradise!

Day 4: Trellis Bay, Beef Island
The next morning, full of optimism.

Waves? What waves?

When white was still white...

At the destination - the Loose Mongoose bar...

 Surviving is what counts...

There is never enough rocking for someone.

...

Day 5: Leverick Bay Marina, Virgin Gorda
 The mini-captain.

And the dinghy-captain and the captain.
The obligatory swimming once arrived at the destiantion - Virgin Gorda.

 A view from the "hotel".

Another paradise on earth.

Day 6: Bitter End and Eustatia Island, Virgin Gorda

The Dinghy Captain.

Bitter End - another day in paradise.

Bitter end - at $450 per night.

On the other side Saba Rock resort - at $900 per night...

Eustatia Island - privately owned, as we discovered later, by a Larry Page.

Our capitain as a kite-surfer.

 At Larry's beach.

At Larry's port.

Day 7: Spanish Town, Virgin Gorda.

Fischer's Cove Beach Hotel.

 The view from the hotel.

A children's festival at the Spanish Town, Virgin Gorda.

A perfect place for work from home.

Day 8: Great Harbour, Peter Island
 The buoy obsession starts...

A bit of relaxation in a very stressful week

The sailing family.

Day 9: Great Harbour, Jost van Dyke
 The police on the island.
The White Bay.

 The White Bay first hand.

Which one is ours?

Soon oh very soon, we are going to sleep in a bed...

Day 10: Bubbling Pool and Sandy Cay
The Bubbling Pool and Jost Van Dyke.

This time with bubbles.

The famous Sandy Cay island. Somehow noone was in the mood to take pictures during the famous landing, pasta lunch with sand, and anchoring of the dinghy (and the camera was wet anyway).

The last leg of the trip - passing by the West End bay.

Almost there...

The West End bay.

Day 11: Departure
The last day - everyone is very sad.

Next time only on a ship like this...

...or a plane!

Bye-bye, British and US Virgin Islands. We will never forget you!
